On the 31st of October, the 16th MASIT Conference was held in Skopje. The MASIT ICT Chamber of Commerce dedicated the event to one particularly crucial matter in today’s world: data. Hence, this year’s topic was “Data as an Asset”.
The conference was organized by MASIT and supported by the IME – Increasing Market Employability Program funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and implemented by the Palladium Group.
The opening of the event by Ms. Aneta Antova Peseva, President of the Managing Board of MASIT.

Some of the topics that were discussed at the conference were: Internet of Things, Smart Homes, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Analytics, Business Analysis, Business Development, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, and Robotics.
Among the 300 attendees were representatives from foreign and domestic ICT companies and other sectors, representatives from many state institutions and ministries, ICT academic institutions, media, etc.

Alite International had the honour to be one of the attendees at this year’s conference. As part of the event, Alite’s representatives – Zorica Redzic, Ivana Bozhinovska, and Elena Jovanovska – and all the other attendees participated in a survey dedicated to the most significant challenges the IT sector is facing nowadays.

The survey resulted in Alite International winning the 1st prize, a company certification worth 2,000.00 Swiss Francs sponsored by the Palladium Group and their Increasing Market Employability (IME) projects.
Inspired by this award, Alite International will continue improving its working procedures and processes to always respond best to clients’ expectations.
The mutual message everyone agreed with was that data has become one of the most substantial resources and a highly valuable asset of each company.
